MTC: WEEK 1

Alright folks, this is my 4th day in the MTC and it feels like I've been here for a month! the first 3 days were super tough but apparently it gets a lot better from there.  I've been able to strengthen my connection with God so much since I have arrived here, I already feel like a totally different person!

The food here is... well... not the best, it tastes fine, but I don't know what it is but I've been wrecking toilets like 3 times a day since I got here, my companion Elder Hudson probably thinks I've got some weird issues with my stomach, at first I thought it was because I was having a little bit of lactose but I then realized that it was just the food in general, I guess I'm just not used to American food.

I've been messing with people like crazy about Canadian things, I told one elder that we don't have DVD's in Canada and another Elder that the sun isn't out for more than 2 hours a day.  It's actually hilarious what some people will believe.

I think I'm going through Caffeine withdrawal, they have Coke here but it is all caffeine free, every single drink at the MTC is caffeine free which is pretty lame.  Day 4 of no caffeine and I already have headaches! I think I have a problem.  Once I get into the field in Knoxville Tennessee I'll be able to buy caffeine again and I can't wait! Especially since I'll have access to Vanilla and Cherry coke.

Well I have to grab my laundry out of the washer so I have to stop here but expect another email next Saturday!
