Week 32: Opossum

So I finally got to see snow down here, and we got a pretty decent chunk of it. The roads were super bad due to lack of snow removal and we had to drive down to the stake center in Knoxville for a worldwide mission conference.  It probably would have been canceled if it were any other conference but since it was a worldwide live broadcast we kind of had to go. Luckily there weren't too many issues with missionaries driving. I heard of at least one accident but it wasn't too bad.

Luckily I'm not too terrible at driving in the snow. I guess growing up in Canada was worth something!

Elder Farnsworth has been pretty darn sick this last week with sinus infections and ear infections and the whole shebang.

Everything's still going well though. I got to go on a one-day exchange with Elder Constantino and it was awesome!  We got to teach a guy who seems to be progressing awesomely.

I got to see my first Opossum yesterday night!  We were at the bishop's house and as we were leaving I saw a raccoon climbing the tree. Turns out it wasn't a raccoon.  We threw snowballs at it which was actually pretty mean but we didn't manage to knock it out of the tree. They're kind of cute.

Well, as per usual, I'm running short on time this week so I'm going to have to cut it a little short.

Week 31: Jump Jam

I just did a calculation and it seems yesterday was my 1/3 mark!  Can you believe it?  I'm already 1/3 of the way done!  I guess time flies while you're having fun.

Elder Farnsworth and I have been tearing up Rockwood. We are teaching a bunch of people and have brought the area to an all new high. It feels great.

Well, let's see... Last week I went to a place called "Jump Jam" in Knoxville. It was super fun!  Our P-Day was on Tuesday because of a zone meeting we had on Monday so my emailing was all out of whack last week.  Anyways, this jump jam place was the bomb. We're going there today so I might send more pics and videos, but here is what I'll send so far.  I'm pretty rusty on a trampoline since I haven't really been on one since high school but I still have a little bit of it left in me!

Well anyways gotta go jump some more so I'm outta here for now!

Week 30: Mini Eggs

I really hate emailing on my iPad so I'm going to cut this pretty short, I probably won't even do a weekly email this week; we are crazy busy today.

Elder Farnsworth got addicted to mini eggs and we ate them all like 2 days after Christmas, so basically if you ever feel compelled to send us more mini eggs we will never complain hahahaha.

Anyways, I love you mom!

Week 29: Happy New Year

Well we got to play basketball on New Year's Eve, so that was fun.

We've been working pretty hard this week and meeting tons of new people; I love it!

Honestly, it's been a pretty normal week of working so I don't have all that much to report on.  We found few new investigators this week who just invited us into their homes right away which doesn't happen very often.

Well, I'm going to try my best to take some sweet pictures this week so I can show you some stuff. I guess I've been pretty week in that regard for the past couple months.

Love you guys!

Week 28: Warmth

Well, Christmas was AWESOME!

I got a Kendama so I'm going to have to improve my skills with it in my free time (Morning workouts).

It's been crazy warm here for Christmas, like 70 degrees for Christmas! It's been whacked out. Definitely my first green Christmas.

Well, Elder Farnsworth and I have been killing it here in Rockwood. We have been teaching so many new people; it's great!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I really appreciate all the packages, letters, and emails from everybody. You guys are awesome!

Running low on time so I'm gonna leave this one SUUUUPER short.

Hope you guys have a great new years!

Love

Week 27: Merry Christmas!

Oh the Christmas season; how wonderful it is!  I've received packages from a bunch of people and letters and emails and I just want to say thank you! I really appreciate it and love all of you!

Dang, what to start with.
Elder Farnsworth is my new companion. He was Elder Goldsberry's companion right before I came into the mission (I replaced him in Maryville). He was also trained by the same person that trained elder Goldsberry which makes him my uncle in the mission which is pretty cool I guess! He's a really hard worker and we have been doing tons of work together. We cleaned out the whole apartment, and by that I mean we scrubbed everything down, like everything! Moved all the furniture and cleaned all of the cupboards and drawers. Basically it's the hardest I've ever worked in my life on cleaning.
His Birthday was 2 days after he arrived in Rockwood and one of the members had him over for a birthday celebration, so that was really cool of them!

We had a Christmas party on Saturday which was really cool. We all got a present from our mission president. It's a really high quality flag, it says "Tennessee Knoxville Mission" on it. It's super cool. I'll send a picture next week.
At the Christmas party we played dodgeball (My zone won) and ate pizza, then we got to watch Big Hero 6, so that was pretty awesome.
Star wars came out last Friday and I'm pretty sad I missed it, although I've heard a few things about it since I didn't care about being spoiled haha.
Anyways, I have to go pretty soon here so I'll end this one off.
Miss you all!
